This is the only difference between these bags, however, even Type B FIBC Bags are not completely antistatic. Use Type B FIBC to transport dry flammable powders. Like Type A FIBC, keep Type B FIBC away from stored fuel or gases.
Type C FIBC Bags: Also known as conductive Jumbo FIBC, Type C FIBC bags are safe for use in an environment with explosive gases or dust in the vicinity. FIBC Type C Bags are made with non-conductive polypropylene fabrics. The fabric is interwoven with conducting threads, and these threads are electrically interconnected. They are also connected to the ground during discharging, and it is imperative for their safe use. FIBC Type C are best to use for transporting flammable powders and safe for use around flammable material such as fuel, gas or dust
