UN CERTIFIED FIBC

Transporting hazardous & dangerous goods is one of the biggest challenges of the logistics industry. Most of these goods have to follow certain transportation guidelines related to them by the UN Association, also known as the Orange Book, which makes the task even more stringent. In order to provide adequate safety to surroundings and ecosystem as whole, and comply with these regulations, Emmbi provides UN certified FIBC bags. 

With years of extensive experience in design and development, Emmbi has specially drafted internal standards in place to meet the certification requirements, which includes a highly trained staff and advance technical infrastructure. The UN certified bulk bags are classified by packing groups:

I – High Degree of Danger, denoted by ‘X’

II – Medium Degree of Danger, denoted by ‘Y’

III – Low Degree of Danger, denoted by ‘Z’

For obtaining UN certification, these FIBC bags through several tests to comply with the requirements laid down by the UN. These tests include:

  1. Top List Test
  2. Tear Test
  3. Stacking Test
  4. Drop Test 
  5. Topple Test
  6. Righting Test
