We, at Emmbi Industries Limited adhere to a Wood usage policy to maintain desired level of hygiene as per the BRC standard. This policy will be common to all shop floor employees of the company ensuring, everyone understand, agree and comply with them under actual operating conditions.

• The use of wooden pallets is restricted only for the finished goods dispatch. The pallets are heat treated and fumigated before usage. Records are maintained.
• Finished goods are wrapped in the stretch film and are placed over woven polymer sheet before placing the same on the wooden palate.
• All wooden pallets shall be free from large splinters, glass and any other potentially contaminating matter and with no protruding nails at the time of use. Wooden splinters shall be disposed off into packaging waste bins, if any.
• Damaged wooden pallets shall be removed from stock and disposed off.
