We, at Emmbi Industries Limited adhere to a prescribed Sharp object control & handling policy to maintain desired level of hygiene as per the BRC standard. This policy will be common to all shop floor employees of the company ensuring, everyone understand, agree and comply with them under actual operating conditions.

Sharp Objects Control Policy
- Employees at all times must not carry or place snap-off type sharp object like needle, blade, scalpels, and razor etc. All such objects must not be left lying around or hidden in unexpected locations, e.g. under the backs of chairs, behind cupboards, or in change rooms, etc. as the same may cause serious hazards to the product and can make the product unsafe.
- A register is maintained for all sharps articles such as needle, blades which are used in production areas and warehouses. All items listed in the register is monitored at the end of every shift.
- All the non-snap off type blade holders and manual cutter blade holders are numbered and monitored to prevent the contamination.
- If any item listed in blades register is found missing, production & dispatch related activities are stopped and the matter is reported to production supervisor. Production supervisor must locate missing item before re-starting production and dispatch activities.
