We, at Emmbi Industries Limited adhere to a prescribed Metal handling policy to maintain desired level of hygiene as per the BRC standard. This policy will be common to all shop floor employees of the company ensuring, everyone understand, agree and comply with them under actual operating conditions.

Metal Policy
- Company carries out hazard analysis on a regular basis to assess the risk of Metal contamination in raw materials, goods under process and finished goods.
- All objects which are likely to come in contact with finished goods are maintained in the corrosion free state.
- All structural and supporting systems in production area and warehouses are maintained in an appropriate manner to eliminate any metal contamination.
- Pins, watches and jewellery is not allowed in production areas, material movement paths and warehouses.
- A register is maintained for all sharps articles such as needle, blades which are absolutely required to be kept in production areas and warehouses. All items listed in the register are monitored at the end of every shift.
- If any item listed in register is found missing, production & dispatch related activities are stopped immediately and the matter is reported to production supervisor. Production supervisor must locate missing item before re-starting production and dispatch activities.
