Bulk bags are designed to reduce the cost of handling , shipping and storing your product. The life of the bag depends on the product contained and care exercised in handling the bag. The following recommendations are designed to assist you in properly caring for your bulk bags.
- Do read handling instructions on the FIBC label
- Stay within the indicated S.W.L-Weight
- Check Multi-TriP bags for damages before reusing it
- Check if discharge spouts are closed property, prior to filling the bags
- Check if FIBC iS standing safely after filling
- Close fill-spout properly
- Don’t fill your FIBC one-sided, even filling guarantees stability
- Take precautions that there iS no person under or within reach of the suspended FIBC
Stack FIBC’s in a stable manner i.e. prevent from sunlight, rain and frost, consider the possibility of accident (explosion) due to static charging - Use a suitable forklift or crane, adjust the forklift-tines to the correct width (Distance of the loops) and tilt the forklift mast to a proper angle backwards, also check that there are no sharp corners of edges on forklift-tines or crane-hooks
- While transport with (forklift or truck) :
- Do not brake or accelerate abruptly
- Do not jerk up or down during lifting
- Do not drag over the floor
- DO not use lifting device which are not suitable to lift
- Do not tilt the mast of your forklift forward during transport
- Pull your forklift-tines out of the loop only when there iS no more weight on the tines, otherwise you cut the loops
- Incase you want to reuse your FIBC for a special application, please make sure with your manufacturer
- Do not reuse One—way FIBC’s
- Do not repair Mufti—Trip FIBC’s by yourself without consulting manufacturer
- Keep the FIBC’s away from open heat or fire
- Shrinkage I cm from an dimension’s every year
